DX06 Heavy Duty Wide Seat Bariatric Folding Power Wheelchair

I've taken the KERDOM DX06 on several nature trails and it handled gravel, grass, and even uneven dirt paths like a champ. The 500W motors provide plenty of power, and the 12x8 solid tires just roll over obstacles without issue. The wide 18.5" seat is comfy on longer rides, and the folding design makes it easy to bring along for camping trips. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a heavy-duty wheelchair that doesn’t limit outdoor exploration.

Love this Chair - I have had a heavy power chair for many year with and uncomfortable seat and poor positioning. This thing just fits my body and is so comfortable. Took it for a day at disney and just wow the two batteries are the bomb. It stores nicely in my suv. I wish it was a little lighter but I chose this for the features of this specific chair. The two batteries mean the world to me. Thanks for a great chair.

We bought this for my father who has Parkinson's and needs stability. Yes, we need a ramp to get it into the van because it's heavy to lift, but the weight keeps it glued to the ground. He doesn't tip, even on our sloped driveway. The peace of mind is worth the extra lifting effort

I was worried the 18-inch seat might be tight for my size, but it actually offers great support. It holds me in place rather than letting me slide around.

My old chair would get stuck in the backyard if the grass was slightly damp. This DX06 just plows through it. The motors have serious torque

I live in a hilly neighborhood in San Francisco, and this is the first electric chair that pulls my 280lbs up the steep grade without stalling. Impressive engineering

I like the DX-06 wheelchair. It folds up easily, and it is light enough lift into my car. Charging and simple and quick. I am a big guy and the DX-06 was very comfortable! There is a learning curve when it comes to using the joystick. I strongly suggest Kerdom create some YouTube videos for each of their wheelchairs. It would be a big help.

Very durable and does navigate over gravel and grass. Will be taking it on our travels and we will see how well it works for traveling.

Chair is great but left and right control is very touchy.

Back of wheelchair leans too far back, at an angle, half reclined. Cannot adjust it. Cannot look forward while using backrest Can ONLY upward.
Although they state free shipping...for returns they charge $150 plus 10% restocking fee.
Avoid this chair.

So far I love this chair. It's got plenty of power and range to go everywhere I've attempted. I'm still getting adjusted to the joystick as it is much sensitive than my last chair but that is only a matter of practice and time. Can't beat the price for the quality that you get.

To heavy 50 lbs total would be better

Thoroughly impressed with the DX 6 bariatric chair. Took it out into my pasture where the grass was 6 to 8 inches tall and some small hills with very little problems. My self and the Physical Therapist Assistant were impressed by how well it handled the rough terrain.

The Kerdom DX05 is a great chair, however I found it a little too heavy for me. I can certainly recommend it with the weight consideration in mind. It is an amazing chair for the price. I desided to exchange mine for the Kerdom DX07, which is 30 lbs. lighter.

The wheelchair is an excellent value. It seems to be rugged and well built. The only things that I would improve are the responsiveness of the joystick controller, which can be a bit sluggish in comparison to my Travel Buggy, and the fact that the 2 batteries are not connected in parallel and as configured you must manually move the controller from one battery to the other in essence using only one battery at a time.

The joystick is not as sensitive as I had hoped. It doesn't always make the chair move as I need or want. Several times I've run into things and at least twice have had the chair turn toward the street. In all fairness, I'm not sure if it's a faulty joystick or me getting used to it. I may update in a few weeks.

This chair is amazing and has helped so much with my wife's ability to be mobile around our house. Very easy to use, comfortable and the folding and unfolding could not be easier. Thank you for providing such a quality product

There are three aspects to the reason I unfortunately could only rate my satisfaction at a three. Number one would relate to the build of the framework of the chair. They did an excellent job on the framework, it’s very solid and comfortable. Number two would relate to being able to fold and unfold the chair and put it in the trunk of my car. It folds and unfolded very smoothly and it is heavy but I was able to use a little leverage to make it pretty simple to put it in the trunk of my car. Number three relates to actually using and controlling the chair. Unfortunately this is the TOTAL REASON FOR MY DISSATISFACTION, and low score. The controller performance is totally destroyed by the way the controller is programmed. Instead of giving the customer full control of operation so you can move smoothly, they have restricted your ability to control the chair by limiting your choices. If you are going straight and even slightly move the controller to one side or the other the controller anticipates the fact that you may be turning and it automatically slows your speed greatly. So if the surface you are on leans even slightly one way or the other, you may be intending to go straight but the chair may drift a little because the surface is not perfectly flat and when you move the controller slightly left or right of center in the forward position to compensate for the drift, the chair automatically assumes you are making a turn and it slows down instead of letting you be in total control. Most people that buy this chair are adults. Unfortunately they apparently don’t think their customers are competent enough to operate the chair safely, even though the chair has five speeds to choose from and customers should be able to set the speed at a level they are comfortable with. I must say that the customer service department is very nice and quick to respond to problems, but unfortunately can’t solve this problem until management quits over thinking safety and maybe liability. I hope they choose to give the customer the ability to control the chair smoothly in the future, the satisfaction, rating level of customers will increase greatly when they quit restricting the performance of their products.

This chair took over one month to arrive, but it arrived as advertised and works well. Kerdom also was responsive to my questions and concerns.
